Eternal Spring

i came across a reference photo for this a while ago, and remembered thinking that this image could be so much more. finally decided to take a shot with the brushes and rearranged a lot of things to improve the composition. it just struck a chord with me... i guess i'm just getting old and thinking about retirement, although it is ten years too early .. sigh lol

A small 8 X 10 acrylic i did as a study. all those boat fiddly bits are annoying to paint, but i kinda like the way it came out. maybe a bigger version in the future?
