Peyto Glacier
Nothing like a little trip to the mountains will do for painting inspiration! From a photo I took at Peyto Glacier, along the Icefield Parkway between Banff and Jasper Alberta Canada. So much ice in July!

Life Drawing June 2014
the last of the life drawings for the summer. :o(
i do have a portrait from life class coming up in mid July, but it is not the same thing. back at them in september though ;)
all drawings done on cartridge paper using vine charcoal and/or compressed charcoal. colored ones are done with vine charcoal and conte crayon. times vary from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. you can usually tell the longer ones by how many of the limbs i detailed!
