Crowded Room

I did this for a challenge to paint in Van Gogh's style. I'm not sure i got a Van Gogh look, but it was fun to paint none the less.

Coming Up Roses

I don't know what it is about roses. i don't usually enjoy doing floral art, except for roses... kind of a puzzle to draw and paint and very satisfying when they come out alright.

Forest Light

I’m not much of a landscape painter but every once in a while, a reference comes along that captures the imagination. This is from a photo I took on the path to Logan Lake… a small lake just off the Icefield Parkway, a stretch of highway that runs between Banff and Jasper, Alberta, Canada.

By the way, the lake is just beyond the end of the path and is beautiful... maybe a painting for another day! ;o)

Figure Study

Experimenting with a new style. tried to incorporate more line into the work and stay a little looser. it's a lot of fun to paint that way. you may see more in this style! :)

Thanks a whole bunch to MelissaMarieSwarts for letting me use the wonderful reference!
