Cricket Players

Think I found a new favorite toy! more from those brush pens. this one was a good exercise in simplifying the subject matter. I did a really quick gesture sketch, then transferred those energetic lines to the w/c paper then inked and added color. Definitely different for me, but something I'd like to explore some more!

more of those brush pens. I was trying to see how subtle you can get with them on the feathers. just used the black pen here, with lots of water.
