Chinese Lanterns

I painted this before.. an 8 X 10 'quickie' one weekend, and i liked the colors so much I thought it deserved a better treatment. So here is the new version... bolder colors... acrylic on 16 X 20 canvas this time. I tried to get away from the realistic stuff and used a lot more line here.

Life Drawing - April 2013

Here is the best of April life drawing sessions. a few experiments with color, but i am way too tentative! my color vision is not good and it is hard to make color decisions quickly for me. Gotta try these things though ;o)
