Safe Harbor V2

This is one I painted before as a small study, and decided to go big with it! Same composition, although i did tweak some things i didn't like in the original. It took way too long... i'm not sure i want to do many more 'repaints'. I found it painful to paint the same thing twice. I don't think i would survive on an assembly line! :P acrylic on 16 X 20 canvas

Portrait in Conte

I hadn't done a portrait with conte on black in ages and i love doing them! Along comes a beautiful reference by ClaimYourself (many thanks! :D ), so out comes the drawing box! an enjoyable 2 or 3 hours spent. i should do this more often ;)
